Summary of One Punch Man (OPM) Chapter 8
Chapter 8 was a mix of humor, frustration, and heart, which is why I love One Punch Man so much. Saitama continues to struggle with being unrecognized, despite saving people left and right. As a fan, I really felt for him, watching him put his all into hero work only to be overlooked or even criticized. Genos, meanwhile, remains his number-one supporter, providing both emotional backup and epic firepower in battle. The villains in this chapter are increasingly ridiculous, and Saitama’s one-punch defeats are both hilarious and oddly sad because no one seems to notice his efforts. What stands out most is how the story balances absurdity with real emotion, making Saitama feel like more than just a gag character. I’m excited to see how he’ll keep proving himself and what new challenges will come his way.
